Seitbek Jumaliyev, Chairman of the Kyrgyz National Memory of the World Committee

Official Innauguration of the National Comittee of the Memory of the World Programme on UNESCO WebWorld site.
Seitbek Jumaliyev, Head of the Archives Department in the Ministry of Education and Culture was appointed Chairman of the Committee with Kanatbek Imankulov from the Kyrgyz National Commission for UNESCO as its Secretary.

UNESCO believes that the Memory of the World Programme will achieve its objectives by encouraging projects and activities not only from a global perspective, but also from regional, national and local ones.
